MESSAGE BY CHAIRMAN |
|
Dear Partners,
It gives me great pleasure to
welcome you to ELECRAMA-2010.
Now in its 9th edition; ELECRAMA
stands tallest amongst international
Electrical & Electronics exhibitions,
aptly captured by the bold and
emphatic theme; 'power is
here, future is now' which
reflects the sign of the times.
Today though the global outlook
continues to be discouragingly
grim, the Indian economy is witnessing
resilience and upward growth,
albeit at a measured but steady
pace, aided by the continuance
in political leadership which
has reinforced its commitment
towards an uninterrupted thrust
on development.
With the changing times, ELECRAMA
has constantly strived to improve
its offerings to its patrons,
with each edition creating new
benchmarks for itself, and ELECRAMA-2010
promise to offer an enhanced exhibition
experience. Taking cognizance
of the global scenario and the
slowdown at home, we have initiated
a number of steps to enhance the
value for the exhibitors. The
highlights of the steps we have
endeavored to provide are:
 |
Increasing
the quality
and quantity
of global
visitors
to enable
our exhibitors
to explore
newer markets.
|
 |
Dedicated students' pavilion showcasing innovative concepts and prototypes.
|
 |
Concurrent seminars and an exclusive conference.
|
 |
'One-to-one appointment facilitation service' for business networking.
|
 |
Streamlined services for comfort and convenience.
|
 |
Tailor made travel, stay and experience packages.
|
 |
Online registration desk at www.elecrama.com to simplify visitor registration process.
|
 |
Proactive security with world class protection, surveillance and prevention systems
|
 |
Green and environment friendly practices.
|
In my periodic interactions with
business leaders in the electrical
industry, one positive signal
which is emerging in spite of
the overwhelming global slowdown
is the increased relevance of
ELECRAMA as an event of strategic
importance. ELECRAMA has evolved
from being just an exhibition
to a dynamic movement. The last
edition of ELECRAMA in 2008 was
estimated to have concluded business
in the region of US$ 900 million.
If statistics are any indicator
of its size, then ELECRAMA could
simply be the biggest exhibition
in the world for E&E trade.
We at the ELECRAMA organising
committee appreciate your valuable
contribution and support extended
over the years to build ELECRAMA
as a premier E&E expo and we welcome
your suggestions and recommendations
that could go into enhancing the
forthcoming edition. Do write
in to us at elecrama@ieema.org
and we will definitely consider
each suggestion and implement
them to the best of our ability.
Looking forward to see you at
the ELECRAMA-2010,
Yours sincerely,

Raj Eswaran
Chairman
Organizing Committee ELECRAMA-2010
